I purchased this book because the sample hooked me.I enjoyed the book - i really did but...
I could list a few issues but the most glaring are listed below
1. Please get an editor - I'm available if you need one! The misused words, spelling and sometimes sentence structure threw me off, the flow from one moment to the next was sometimes choppy where I had to read a few paragraphs back to figure out what was now going on
2. The plot was there but not developed - leads me to think that the entire series is one story that was broken down to give individual side stories, however I think Burn and Sizzle should have been one story - I'm still debating whether to purchase Sizzle to get to the end of Renee's story
3. The third in this mfmm was under used - she had all the requisites but just didn't develop them enough - I would have loved to see where the third and Renee are going since she developed Bane and Dru. She should have taken into consideration his age and how his relationship with her would go - there is something unfinished with the third - its why I want to read Sizzle to see whether it was addressed!
4. The resolution was just too easy for me - three powerful men and so much potential unrealised!!!
5. It was unrealistic how she accepted 3 men so quickly - yes I know we read to escape (well I defintely do read to escape reality) but come on....!
Ok so now I've groused I have to admit I kept wondering who would take her virginity - loved how that was resolved - genius!!!!
The heat was there - was it ever there! I would love to have one of them - just one please!!!!

I live in Florida and just loved the location and excellent story line. I just recently found this Author, and have read every single book she has written in this series. I have passed along high recommendations to all my friends. If you like paranormal romance with sexy men, Oh! make that several sexy men. Get this series of books today.
I really loved the storyline and it takes place in SW Florida. However, there was way to much sex in this book. That's why I could only give it 4 stars.
This is such a great series, that I have gone back and read the entire set again.. Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes plus great characters and wonderful paranormal romance, make this whole set a "must-have"!!!! I didn't want to set it down! Lol
Taylen Scot is another hidden treasure that I stumbled on! This one Sanibel Burn Is so steamy my hair began to melt!! The sex against the wal was a whole new concept!!!!!!!!! HOT!! Her characters are rich and full and the story line outstanding and she follows her books and keeps the continuity consistent. If You Want a Very Hot, Graphic, Sexy Paranormal (Wolves & Vampires) Romance with meat to it This Sanibel series is a must
The main reason I'm only giving this book 3 stars is that the entire format was totally messed up which made reading very frustrating. The story was good, but a little confusing. Way to many shifters and other supernaturals thinking they were Renee's mates. A little convoluted in places and me, trying todetermine who was who. They was mystery involved concerning Renee's past, and the men were, of course, very sexy and great looking(but aren't they always in these books?). Bane was my favorite, but Did was interesting and didn't even tell her what he was until the end. Must be mating time! Hopefully, no one else got a messed up book because it never got fixed.
I love Talyn Scott's writing. Her books are sexy and I Love Her concept on PRN. This book does not disappoint. GREAT SEX scenes, great story line. You need to read from the beginning as each book has a continuing arc and missing a book will leave you confused. I really like how she doesn't use previous books as filler. If you miss a book she leaves the decision up to you to be confused or to read the previous book, her three paranormal series are all interlinked. I give this book 5 big honking stars.

I really like this author for the most part. I took a chance and read the first 2 Sarasota books and fell in love. So while I waited for the final release in that series I thought why not get this while I wait. I didn't read the first in the series but it was easy to follow and I liked the characters for the most part. However the heroine was a bit obnoxious at times and the 3rd mate was added as an after thought which sucked cuz I wanted to see his personality bloom. Another thing I didn't like was the final scene between the main characters. I was waiting for a big payoff of explosive sex and instead it was a rush job between only one mate and the girl. It sucked and I felt cheated. Then the last few pages primed u for the next book which honestly I won't be getting because I'm not really feeling the main people at all. Then another excerpt follows for another book. If I wanted to know about those stories I'll look em up but don't waste adding in things when u should have finished the story better. In conclusion I do recommend this book just don't expect a big payoff. But I'm more inclined to recommend the Sarasota series cuz those books were off the chain!
